Over the past 9 months, Wright Care has been working with a medium sized care home group, within which there were some Homes experiencing some severe difficulties.

One Home had a proposal for closure, causing great concerns for everyone involved.

Each member of the Wright Care Team have been involved, concentrating on specific target areas to improve the performance of the Home, increase staff morale, create confidence with CQC, Local Authority, and Safeguarding teams and, most importantly, give the residents high quality, person-specific and effective care.

The great news is that the proposal for closure has been lifted, meaning that residents still have their Home, and staff still have their jobs.

Whilst there is still work to do, a great deal has been achieved.
